Six decades of TAB energy
TAB Baterije d.o.o. is a subsidiary of TAB d.d. Mežica, Slovenia, and the sole authorised importer and representative of the TAB Group in Serbia.

TAB d.d. was founded in 1965 in Mežica, a region that has processed lead for more than 350 years. For its first 15 years TAB was a licensed partner of Tudor, Sweden.
Today TAB produces a wide range of lead-acid, VRLA AGM and VRLA gel batteries in three modern factories. The first plant makes TAB and Topla batteries and original equipment (OEM) batteries, with annual capacity of over 2,000,000 units.
The second plant makes TAB industrial batteries, traction and stationary, with a capacity of about 1,000,000 units a year. The third factory, in North Macedonia, makes Vesna batteries at 1,000,000 to 1,500,000 units a year.

In 2010 TAB d.d. founded its subsidiary TAB Baterije d.o.o. in Ugrinovci. The company is the sole authorised importer and representative in Serbia for TAB Group batteries and the TAB industrial range.
More than 500 retail outlets across Serbia are part of the sales network. Every region has service partners where customers can resolve any battery issue, from a claim to a recharge.
Because TAB sells in almost every European country with the same service organisation, a TAB customer has support wherever they drive.
