Claim procedure
- Before filing a claim, ask an auto electrician to check the vehicle’s charging system and wiring.
- Bring the battery to an authorised service partner together with the receipt and the completed warranty card.
- We inform you of the decision within 8 days of receiving the battery and resolve valid claims within 15 days.
- If the battery is replaced, the new warranty card records the replacement date marked R and the details of the claimed battery.
- If the battery stays in service for more than 8 days, the warranty is extended by that time.
Istruzioni
- Keep the battery clean and dry, with terminals properly tightened.
- Before installation check the vehicle charging voltage: it must be between 14.00 V and 15.00 V. Repeat every six months.
- If the vehicle has coded devices or permanently powered equipment, leave the replacement to a professional.
- When removing, disconnect the negative (−) terminal first, then the positive (+). Reverse the order when installing.
- Secure the battery mechanically so vibration cannot damage it. Install open (vented) batteries only in the engine compartment.
- Check stored batteries at least every six months and recharge if needed. Recharge a discharged battery within 48 hours.
- Charge vented batteries with a microprocessor charger at no more than 1/10 of capacity (e.g. 4.5 A for 45 Ah). Electrolyte temperature must not exceed 55 °C.
- Do not work on sealed batteries; at the first problem contact an authorised service partner.
Sparks, open flames and smouldering objects are forbidden near batteries because of explosive hydrogen gas. The electrolyte is diluted sulphuric acid: wear goggles and gloves, and in case of contact with skin or eyes rinse with plenty of water and seek medical help.
